Grieving their 25-yr-old grandson, Brad and Rosemary Tarp did as many family members do and created a memorial fund in his honor. Their plan wasn’t to cover funeral costs, buy a bench in a public park or make a one-time charitable donation, but to support young people who share Ross’ thrill-seeking, fix-anything spirit.
Since 2022, Live For Ross – “a fund for safety awareness and vocational education” – has donated hundreds of dollars in safety gear and awarded more than $15,000 to aspiring tradesmen and women throughout South Monterey County.
